Nineveh Plain Forces

A few kilometres from deserted Christian town of Telskuf, the Nineveh Plain Forces are fighting IS along a provisionary border.

Almost all Christians fighting alongside the Peshmerga came from villages occupied by IS.

Of the 1 million and an half Christians who lived in Iraq 10 years ago, only 250,000 are left today.

The younger generation is now taking up arms to reconquer its home town.
